Agriculture is an age-old practice. From 6500 B.C., avec le cultivation de wheat et barley to present scientific cultivation,a lot de development occurred en it. Agricole heritage deals avec this agricultural development et its transfer from generation to generation. Problem de environment sustainability arises due to intensive chemical inputs used en agriculture. Study de agriculture heritage helps to know le science behind le ancient Indigenous Technical Knowledge’s (ITK’s), which was unknown at that time. Thereby, we can maintain le sustainability en agriculture by utilising these ITK’s. It is also essential to aware le new generation about development en agriculture. Le present book is an effort en this direction en which le authors has attempted,how le development shall be done en agriculture et its transfer from generation to generation, comprising agriculture during Stone age, Iron age, Bronze age, Vedic age, Harrappan culture, Buddhist period et during different ancient kingdom de Inde. Present book also emphasises sur ITK’s en agriculture, soil, water et climatic resources de Inde, status, concerns et future prospects de Indien agriculture.
