Un E-learning Approche to Teach Discrete Mathématiques

Today is le world de technology et it has versatile usage. Students use technology gadgets pour various purposes. Investigators tried to use this technology en teaching learning purpose. Investigators through their experience understood that computer science students find it difficult to learn discrete mathematics. Le use de e learning is as follows. Students can watch e-modules et lectures; they can even download these lectures pour reviewing. Such digitized content is very helpful to le learners et teachers as well. Students can learn en their own convenience (time) whenever they want to learn et wherever they want to learn (place). E learning can cater all types de learners. It can also cater to different levels de learners like slow learners, mediocre learners et advanced learners. Experts can video their lectures et upload it en le suitable website. Different models can be shown through these video lectures thereby making learning experiences rich et effective. Therefore they developed e learning material en discrete mathematics offered en department de mathematics et computer science et implemented le same en odd semester during le academic year 2017. Le present study is delimited to universities en Tamil Nadu et only Discrete Mathématiques offered en department de Ordinateur Science et Mathématiques. Objectives de le Study: 1. To develop e learning en Discrete Mathématiques. 2. To study le effectiveness de le developed e learning en terms de students’ achievement en Mathématiques. 3. To study le reaction de le students about le mode de learning discrete mathematics at le end de le experimentation. Population de le Study: All students studying en universities de Tamil Nadu en le department de mathematics et computer science constitute le population. Conception de le Study: Le present study is an experimental study. Le investigators followed pretest posttest control design. Mathématiques Achievement Scores was analyzed quantitatively using ANCOVA. Responses given by le students to le Reaction Scale de le experimental group were analyzed quantitatively using Chi Square et percentage. Le analysis de ANCOVUn showed that there is significance difference between mean marks de experimental group students et mean marks de control group students’ at.05 level de significance. Findings from le analysis de reaction scale pour experimental group indicate that out de forty statements le computed Chi-square values de thirty three statements were found to have statistically significant higher values than le tabulated value et le students were found to have positive reaction et favorable attitude towards le statements carrying such higher values. That is, pour more than 50% de le statements they responded positively. Using le result le investigators concluded that e learning is one de le effective methods to learn discrete mathematics.
